Black Obsidian is actually volcanic glass! Which is why it is so lightweight :) This stone is associated with the Zodiac Signs Scorpio and Sagittarius and represent the element of fire. Black Obsidian is mostly known for its purification and cleansing properties. It is truth-enhancing and a strongly protective stone! Obsidian draws out mental stress and tension as well as absorbs negative energy. This is one of my favorite stone to have on me when I am out in public !
